Gravis, a UK leading infrastructure and real estate boutique investment manager, is pleased to announce the appointment of Albane Poulin in the new role of head of private credit. She will be based in the London office and report to Phil Kent, CEO.
In her new role she will oversee Gravis’ activities in Private Credit across existing funds GCP Infrastructure Investments (GCP Infra) and GCP Asset Backed Income (GABI), as well as leading new strategies in this asset class.
Albane joins from abrdn where she was Head of European Private Placements, including as the lead fund manager of the Secure Income and Cash Flow Fund since its inception in 2017, investing in a range of private credit asset classes. She brings with her 12 years’ investment experience at abrdn, and 17 years’ experience in the wider credit industry. Albane holds an MA in Economics & Finance and an MA in Bank, Finance & International Trade.

Albane’s appointment follows a series of high-profile recent industry appointments that include Cameron Gardner becoming the firm’s first Head of Distribution, the appointment of Jason Anderson as Head of London Sales, Ed Simpson, joining as Head of Energy and Infrastructure to oversee all direct infrastructure and renewables investment activity, David Barley joining the firm as investment director focusing on Gravis’ private market impact strategies, Anthony Curl, joining as CIO for the direct investment business and most recently, Sam Slator as Marketing Director.
